Our infant classroom is designed to create home-like nursery feel with warm colors, clean, bright spaces, and loving caregivers. We now have a new larger outdoor space for our infants and toddlers.

Our before and after school-age child care program offers flexible scheduling, you tell us what your child care needs are! We are here for you when public schools have half days delayed openings, early dismissals, and inclement weather closings all for one grate rate! Transportation is available.

Our Mission

EKW Discovery Years, originally known as Discovery Years has been a staple in providing quality child care in Sussex County area. We pride ourselves on creating a safe, clean, positive environment that nurtures both the child’s present needs and provides them with the tools they will need in the future.

EKW Discovery Years offers numerous programs for you to choose what best suits your family’s needs. We provide care for children ranging in age from six weeks to twelve years in a variety of different capacities, from part-time to full-time. The staff at EKW Discovery Years is comprised of caring professionals, committed to the education and development of your child. At our center you will find certified teachers and directors with degrees in education up to masters degrees. These professionals strive to provide the best child care available and will work cooperatively with you on any questions, suggestions or concerns that you may have. These open lines of communication are established by our staff so that our teachers and parents can work together and decide how to best help each child’s development.

A developmentally appropriate curriculum is absolutely essential to create a child care program that is both educational and fun. At EKW Discovery Years, we have created a curriculum that addresses the basic educational concepts necessary for early academic development, but does so in a manner that the children thoroughly enjoy. This blending of learning and fun helps your children to not only grow academically now, but creates a strong foundation for them to become lifelong learners.
